Hi – I’m Amanda & welcome to my page ‘The AK Edit’.
During the winter of 2024, I had the opportunity to leave the corporate office and transition to a fully remote work lifestyle. It was at that time, I decided to embrace my love for travel and begin a nomadic lifestyle. With my favorite girl, Riley by my side (my Boston Terrier) we’re setting off on an adventure to explore new cities, cultures, and experiences outside my corporate 9-5.
I plan on using this blog to vlog my experiences. I’m looking forward to having you join me on my travels, eat with me, and take in the picturesque views. Along the way I will be sharing travel tips, destinations must do’s, hidden gems, etc. No matter the activity, whether it be immersing myself into the local sports culture, uncovering fascinating city secrets, or simply reflecting on the highs and lows that might arise with living this type of lifestyle, I’ll be posting along the way.
My journey may not be traditional but it’s an opportunity for growth, learning and connection.
